With Los Angeles’ restaurants opening back up for the first time in over a year, The K is ecstatic to get out of the house and support some of our favorite restaurants!
And so, enjoy our fourth installment of the newest “K Recommends” series in which we partner with our favorite restaurants across LA and give you the opportunity to indulge in their delicacies at no cost!
For this week’s recommendation and partnership, we are very excited to showcase Birdeye Venice.
Guy Cohen of Birdeye Venice makes the most delicious sauce. And yes, we put it on everything.
Birdeye is a Monday pop-up in Venice’s Dudley Market. Like most things in the area, when Cohen sets up shop it immediately begins to feel like a scene. Hungry heads of all ages flock to the grill and almost always grab a bottle of his spicy masterpiece on the way out. Though Cohen is younger than most chefs in the City of Angels, he offers a combination of flavors and textures that feels it could have only come from decades of wisdom.
With the Westside becoming increasingly pleasant as spring takes form, there’s no better place to fight off the heat with a delicious meal (that has a firey heat of its own!). Hats off to Guy, we cannot wait to see where his culinary career takes him next. One thing’s for sure, we’ll be there–waiting in line with our mouths salivating.
Winner announced on 4/26.
