We’re excited to officially announce our “Cover A Cover” contest…
We are challenging you to “cover” the album cover of your choice using the medium of your choice!
Whether you jump in the pool and channel Nirvana’s Nevermind…
employ your pupper to get his Madonna on…
or use acrylics to paint a wigged Tyler (Igor), we are excited to see what creative spin you’re capable of putting on the artwork of your choice.
Pose, paint, cook, sculpt, or whatever floats your boat! To motivate your creative efforts and in turn support the iconic record store, the first prize winner will be awarded a $100.00 gift card to Amoeba Records and some K Merch! And of course, there will be runner up prizes for those who go above and beyond in their creative efforts.
HOW TO ENTER + INSPIRATION:
1. Entries must be high definition, 1000 by 1000 pixel still-images.
2. Submit to [email protected] with the subject line “Cover A Cover (First & Last Name).”
3. The submission deadline is Friday, May 29th.
4. When sharing on socials, be sure to tag @klctn and use the hashtags #coveracover and #dostuffathome so we can repost your work!
