Wow. The incredible Macklemore from Seattle dropped some highly anticipated visuals today, telling his lyrical story perfectly to anyone who chooses to listen. If you do not form some sort of goosebumps while watching this art (dir. by Zia Mohajerjasbi) then watch again until you do. Lyrical genius, Ben Haggerty (Macklemore), wrote “Wings” back in 2008, and originally performed it as an accapella piece. Eventually the lyrics translated into a full-blown song, inspiring some larger-than-life visuals to deliver the message in an artistic way. After first being scheduled for a March 2011 release, the video has finally arrived four months later. Although it took longer than expected, the video does not disappoint and makes a powerful track even more unforgettable. Enjoy the video and Kollect the track if you missed it!
