Understand Me Now (Remix) – Na Palm Ft. Pretty Lights

I’m usually not too keen on Chi-town boy Na Palm, who seems to crank out the superficial party jams like it’s his sole purpose…doesn’t feel right. However, this chill but relentlessly strong flow over a Pretty Lights beat has me listening again. The video below was shot recently at 2am, and perfectly matches the darker tone present in the track. Kollect above for free, courtesy of the K!

Nice post. U must not have listened to the new ‘Late at Night’ album…way more than party jams. I been on this cat for about a year, and he has way more talent than Mac and these hyped up college rappers IMO. But to each their own. Good to see a Midwest boy killing! -BangBangggg

You’re right, I did not listen to the entire album. I guess I was speaking on behalf of the single releases I had heard. But glad you enjoy this (and others tracks from Na Palm, too), I hope to hear more like it soon.

Agreed with your post. Usually his stuff is too phony for me. He doesn’t rap well, his lyrics aren’t good. Plus it’s awkward that he’s like 40 years old… but this darker track felt a little more like something I could rock with. Much respect for keeping it real in your post.
