The West Coast is no stranger to talent. 20-year-old Santa Cruz native and Santa Barbara local Tal Richards (who produces under the name Clark Kent) and Oscar Daniel take on Adele’s magnificent thematic contribution to the new Bond film, “Skyfall”. They gracefully tackle the track, pulling in a tension-ridden bubbling baseline and curiously punctuated synths. There are moments where the brilliant track is left alone with just a simple extra punch, letting Adele’s incredible vocals and eerie string accompaniment do the work.
