I’m not too familiar with upcoming emcee, TeeJay, but I found a few of the tracks off his just-released tape intriguing and worthy of some Kollection attention. Second Time Around: The College Days is most notably a diverse project, as promised by Mr. Akinola – I can’t say each track was a complete success, but I do hear his promising delivery [whose vocal tone sounds like Sonny Shotz at times] and genuine passion for the music by his range of sampling. This is not the worst that has been put up here. Recently, I’ve been really disappointed in the quality of music for the past few weeks. Honestly, haven’t found a great song. I don’t blame the kollection (could be a slow month) but I find it a little hard to believe that there is NOTHING good coming out. I’ve been a huge fan and told all my friends about this site but maybe its time to start finding another blog?

I apologize if I or other members of the K have disappointed you guys. We always strive for quality over quantity, and judging by the feedback of this past weeks’ posts, most K visitors have been satisfied. Hopefully you choose to be life-long Kollectors, because this is only the beginning. Appreciate your comments, as always.
I actually appreciate the fact that teejaay is featured on this website, as I enjoy it. Yes, he’s still an “upcoming” rapper, but give him time.
Whats wrong with you guys?! I mean, youre right that the past month was a bit dissapointing, but i think the first song (“welcome to the show”) isnt that bad, isn´t it?!
Vanessa, in no way did I mean anything personally. I know and appreciate all the hard work that you, Brian, and the other members of the Kollection put into this site. I just wanted to let you guys know! Also, the fact that you guys actually respond is amazing and reminds me that you guys actually appreciate the fans out there. I probably will be a “life-long Kollector”.
