Yesterday LOGGY dropped their new mixtape, NEW KID. I really haven’t figured out what genre this kid’s music is – it’s a mashup/remix/rap hybrid, and it’s ill as hell. LOGGY uses some dope samples and mixes his tracks incredibly well. His lyrics are fresh and original, which is what I like to hear from upcoming artists. My two favorite tracks, Loggerisback and Don’t Stop Believin’ are my definition of the perfect blend of samples from completely different genres (i.e. Vampire Weekend & Cudi). This is LOGGY’s second free mixtape and if he keeps pushing tracks like these, he’s going to blowing up real soon. Hear him first at The Kollection:
