Mashup Monday No. 45
by nicolas - March 19, 2012
I’m back, and after a 2 week hiatus, I’ve got plenty of tracks that hopefully make up for my time away. D.veloped hits us with his re-edit of his IDGAFOS track, this time incorporating Dillon Francis’ reworked track while still maintaining that fun vibe from the first edit. After a crazy St. Paddy’s Day, this light and upbeat mash is a good way to recharge the batteries. If you’re looking for a more relaxed mash, then I recommend OneLove‘s “Shake Out Part of Me”. Florence + The Machine is a group that I, unfortunately, don’t listen to enough and hearing the vocals here leaves me with the desire to start listening more. Katy Perry, on the other hand, not so much but this track (thankfully) leaves her vocals absent.
Now that we’ve had a chance to relax ourselves, you’ll undoubtedly be wanting a bit more faster-paced mashes. For that, I leave you with DJ Foxfire‘s “The Night of Our Lives” and KA5UM‘s “Keep It Lit”. The titles for both, coincidentally, give me the impression that they are energy-driven tracks and while they may not be as well-known these mashes certainly deliver some punch via the synths and electro beat. If you’re looking for a slightly filthier track, then DJ Storms‘ “Comfortably Time” fulfills that and more. It’s an older track, completed over a year ago, but the sound and bass that emanates from my speakers once I hit play doesn’t discriminate against its’ age. And finally, Loo & Placido‘s track as well as Bars Deep are great additions to your Kollection as well. So Kollect On, and get ready for next week’s installment.
