It’s Monday, and that mean’s another round of mashups! I get that a lot of people out there hate mashups, so I’ve done my best to only pick quality blends of solid samples. This week features some incredible tracks from John Lennon, Matisyahu, Iyaz, Wiz Khalifa, Milkman, MGMT, and Hall & Oates. Take a listen to each track individually below, or download all 6 tracks in one .zip file.
Note: I already know that this first mashup with John Lennon, Matisyahu, and Bob Marley is going to piss a lot of you off. The tracks that are mashed are amazing as originals and should not be overlooked. However, I’m throwing up this mash anyways because all the songs work very well together and in the end, each sample conveys a powerful message – this isn’t some shitty rapper on top of a classic Lennon or Marley track. Hope you all understand, and maybe you’ll enjoy the mashup as much as I do.
