So it’s Friday which means that classes are winding down, and all thoughts are starting to gear towards weekend plans. However, luckier Kollectors are probably starting to plan for their Spring Break vacation which means having to figure out music playlists as well. With two of the biggest names, Kap Slap and 3LAU, in the mashup game going to Electric Island and Electric Beach respectively, they made sure to leave those who aren’t as fortunate to attend the festivals with essential mixes for Spring Break, and the weekend, to hold us over.
Kap’s hour long Spring Break Mix is a combination of his own mashups and bootlegs culminating in absolute insanity. I’ve played this many a times while at the gym since he released it and I can’t even begin to express how amped up I get. Imagine this mix playing on the beach with drinks flowing, tanning oil slathered bodies everywhere, girls in scantily clad bikinis, well you get the picture – everything leads to a great time. Fortunately, the same can be said about 3LAU’s Electro Beach mix. Even being only 30 minutes long, Justin doesn’t play around and gets the party/rave vibe going instantaneously. This is purely a mix combining mixes and remixes from various EDM artists, so perhaps this is a glimpse of what we can expect to see/hear from Justin at Puerto Vallarta.
