After their decision to stream the entire album for free a couple days ago, Radical Something has finally released their much anticipated album We Are Nothing. Loggy, Josh Cocktail, and DJ Big Red have worked extremely hard to grace the world with such awesome music to vibe to, and they are definitely a force to be reckoned with. Previous tracks that have been released from this album include their first hit Be Easy and Escape, among a few others. Radical Something hit me up last night asking for us to drop the exclusive album stream for their upcoming project, We Are Nothing set to drop this Wednesday. I’ll let them speak:

Yo Kollectors!! Radical Something here. Over the course of the last three months, you’ve been able to check out every piece of content we’ve released thanks to the awesome people over here at The Kollection. We wanted to give back to all you awesome listeners by broadcasting our entire album, We Are Nothing, and streaming it live before we release our project for free and on iTunes this Wednesday, September 21st. We had such a blast making this music, and we can’t wait for the world to hear what we created! Once again, we want to give a huge thanks to our friends at The Kollection, and of course you guys, because without all of you, WE ARE NOTHING!! Much love from the Golden State!

          Timeflies has done it yet again. The Scotch Tape is the duo’s most recent mixtape, dropped last night, and it is already nearing the top 10 albums on iTunes for the day! The guys sent this one over last night, and I’ve finally had a chance to listen through the whole tape this afternoon. All I can say is Rob and Cal’s production is exceptional, the vocals crisp and complete, and the beats are varying, driving, and addicting. I love this duo’s sound, their style, and the way their songs all fall together.

          Dope new 30-min mix from the one and only Bassnectar. With some classics, tracks from Divergent Spectrum (buy the album if you haven’t yet), and some unreleased songs, this mixtape will blow your mind. I saw Bassnectar at Northcoast Music Festival a few weeks back and he absolutely killed it. This mixtape is good, but see him live if you ever get the chance. Cop 30 minutes of mad bass above.

            i pretty much dropped everything i was doing when i noticed a new bassnectar mixtape on my facebook feed. i’ve been listening to a few mixtapes from them recently and i have been very impressed. this one doesn’t disappoint.

                  Here we go everyone, 3LAU has dropped it – Dance Floor Filth! Here at The Kollection, we’ve been covering Justin Blau since day one, and it’s exciting to see his insane growth in such a short amount of time. He’s really blown up in the mashup scene, and he claims to be moving on to his next phase of musical creativity, original production.

                  I’ve had this tape for a week or so now, and have had time to give it a couple listens through, and I can honestly say it’s one of the better mashup albums I’ve heard in some time. Justin has a real ear for this type of production, and I think kollectors out there will find this to be a great mixtape to throw on at your next party.
