Those Good Feelings – Yoni

Here we go! A brand new Yoni track, and it’s amazing. You truly need to wait for this one to get at least a minute in – when the track starts picking up, it’s fire. My only disappointment in this track is that it’s only 3 minutes long. Yoni, you could easily make this a five minute plus track without losing any of the energy you’ve built up. I look forward to Those Good Feelings v.2! Take a listen, download, and if you’re in Texas this week, be sure to come party with Yoni and Shwayze!

Definitely agree, good song, took about a minute to really get into and ended just as it got going. 2 minutes more would make all the difference. Still, it will be up on my ipod

Of course. It’s nice to change things up every now and then, so that we can infuse The K with new material. This also shows that Kollectors’ opinions do matter.

Left on Freeport – Crystal Seth Free Mixtape

I love seeing young artists keep to their grind and continuously improve, track over track, to finally release a Kollection-worthy mixtape. Here’s Crystal Seth’s Left on Freeport – his latest mixtape released today on Datpiff, sponsored by The Kollection. I really enjoy this young artist’s style – he’s laid back, relaxed, and actually shakes up his style with each track. His instrumentals are varied, each track tells a different story, and his videos are always entertaining. I’ve featured three of my favorites off this tape above, but don’t miss the entire download at Datpiff.

Put It In Your Manners (Childish Gambino x Chiddy Bang) – DJ 21azy

After reading some of the comments on various posts, I felt it was necessary to get away from those electro mashups. To me, and I know for The K as well, the responses and input from the readers is extremely valuable. With this input, I thought it was necessary to give you guys this dope mashup by DJ 21azy.

This one, titled Put It In Your Manners, samples the vocals of Gambino’s Put It In My Video and is laid on top of Chiddy Bang’s Mind Your Manners. I’ve always loved the chorus (the high-pitched childlike vocals) of Chiddy’s song as well as the beat done by Xaphoon. The Gambino track I had never heard of, but once again, Gambino demonstrates his skills as a lyricist. The culmination of these artists into one song results in a fun and upbeat mashup.

Not gonna lie, the original gambino song is average at best, but I’d say a lot of his first tape was. However, I listen to childish for his flow, and most of his remix/mashups are gold, this one is no exception. Can’t wait until Camp comes out.
