Here we go, it’s been a week and it’s time to rate the top track from the past seven days! We’ve had some awesome tracks these past few days, from artists like Macklemore, Skizzy Mars, 3LAU, XV, OnCue and more. Take a listen to each track again and vote for your favorite!
Over the past few months, Adventure Club has risen to become one of my favorite dubstep remix groups. This duo from Montreal has a very cool style, with smooth bass, big drops, and a huge focus on keeping the core elements of their original pieces in tact. These guys haven’t even been making music for a year, and their tunes have taken over the scene, with eleven songs racking up well over one million plays on their Soundcloud alone.
Today I’ve compiled a kollection of their work, linking to their original Soundcloud uploads. Above are my favorite tracks out of their eleven total.
Every Sunday we go through each song posted throughout during past week and pull out the Top Tracks, based on play count, download count, ratings, and Facebook likes. Today, we are going to start a new (experimental) feature allow YOU to vote for the top track of the week. Let us know which song has been your favorite throughout the week – our team, and the community, would love your feedback!
School’s back in session and there’s nothing that helps you plow through homework or let loose on the weekend more than some good dubstep; so Sam, Justin, and I decided to follow suit with the other branches and bring all you bassheads another bangin playlist. Similar to the Summer of Bass playlist, the majority of the songs on this playlist were never featured on the DK, giving you all hours of new tunes. Needless to say this 60 song playlist has your back, including various and diverse producers with both old and new songs (even threw in a Legend of Zelda remix). The batch downloads will be posted after this post gets 200 Facebook likes, so spread the word and lets get 4,000 Fans! Check out the other playlists too: Kollection, Electro, and Indie.
Note: Soundcloud removed a few songs from the playlist: the batch downloads will include all 60 tracks.
Yeah, so I goofed and didn’t throw this up on monday but I’ve put this post off for much too long to make you guys wait any longer. So in July Above and Beyond took the decks on everyones favorite radio show, Pete Tong’s Essential Mix, and did what they do best, destroy a mix. Playing the best in trance and progressive combined with movie quotes and flawless trasitions Above and Beyond take the listener on a journey unlike any other. Trance can almost be a spiritual thing, and for those who haven’t quite understood that before I think this mix will help. So open your ears, turn on the speakers, and let Above and Beyond take the wheel. Enjoy.
Plan your outfit and pack your lunchbox, it’s back to school time y’all! Long days of studying and writing mean one thing to me: I need a dank playlist. We have compiled 50 of your all-time favorite tracks that we’ve featured on the Indie K, resulting in 3.5 hours of some of the best music of the year. And the best news is that this playlist features batch downloads, so with just a few clicks you instantly add every song in the mix. Plug in your headphones, grab some coffee, enjoy this playlist as we begin the fall semester, and most importantly, Kollect on!
