Here we have a preview of UK producer Sub Focus’ bright “Tidal Wave” single, to be found on his upcoming sophomore album in 2013. The track’s pop-heavy vocals are courtesy of Catherine Pockson (UK group Alpines), and are not necessarily the highlight of the track – however, the bubbling synths and rushing drum and bass combos (which appropriately accelerate the second time around) are thrilling. Can’t wait to grab this in its entirety!

Unfortunately the preview is all that’s available for now, but its sweet 2:45 minute duration is perfect for a back-to-school kickback. Kollect on.

Nero is at it again, this time bringing Sub Focus along to add a little Drum and Bass feel to the track as well. This one has a combination of great vocals, drum and bass builds, and that classic Nero drop. Definitely one to rock the speakers with. Kollect it, turn it up, and jam.

Sub Focus has been rolling out hits for the last seven years. I can definitely see Smooth becoming a hit as well. I love the little popping sounds at the beginning with the quiet relaxed beat as it builds slowly towards the drop. Then the bass kicks in and a sweet melody is created. It’s not a hard, wobbly bass, but it’s smoother, adding to the overall piece. So if your looking for something relaxing to bump to, this is it. Enjoy!

    Big ups on the new site man, been diggin’ a lot of the stuff you’ve been putting up. Any chance of putting up a bigger proportion of mp3′s ripped at 320kbps. Some of these tunes are massive but getting killed by the weak bitrates.

    no worries. If I need the higher quality for a mix I’ll just run the search or buy it. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction though. I like a lot of these downtempo luvstep mixes you’ve been putting up.
