The Hour of Power 2 [Mix]- Styles & Complete

If you’re looking to get ratchet this weekend let the guys over at Styles & Complete party with you. This monster ‘Power Hour’ mix is over an hour long with a grand total of 60 songs (basically an average of a song a minute, wow), accompanied with cues throughout the mix of when to hit the booze. With trap, dubstep, moombahton, hip-hop, and electro, this mix wastes no time getting into it, so expect high energy stuff from the get-go. Think you can keep up? Get a few racks for the weekend, download above, and of course support Styles & Complete on facebook.

Thinking About You (Styles & Complete Remix) – Frank Ocean

Styles & Complete understands that the key to R&B dubstep remixes is simplicity. I’ve been slowly becoming a fan of Frank Ocean (I’m not the biggest R&B guy), and this smooth chilled-out dubstep remix is definitely helping that cause. Even all of my Frank Ocean fan boy friends (who hate dubstep) admitted that this song is good. Support Styles & Complete on facebook for making such a good remix.

Knuck If You Buck (Styles & Complete Remix) – Crime Mob

I’m really starting to like these Hip-Hop/Dubstep remixes a lot more. With not too much overpowering bass, dubstep can really compliment a rapper and make a sick song. I also feel like this kind of dubstep is what will get people into the genre. (Flux Pavilion or Excision may be too loud for some). Anyways, Styles & Complete take a classic Crime Mob track and add some bass to create a pretty dope track. If you liked the Biggie and Waka songs we’ve featured earlier, you’ll definitely like this one. Check it out, and be sure to check Styles & Complete’s other works if you like this remix.

Although this isn’t the best track to push dub and hip hop together, I disagree about this being something that The Kollectors don’t want. Part of the reason Mimosa and Pretty Lights have had such major success is because of the heavy influence of hip hop (glitch/dub hop) they have into their music. Many people have gotten into dubstep because of the genre-fusion that musicians have with their samples and breaks, such as Pretty Lights.
