Ish Morris, emcee out of Toronto, slowed down the tempo for his latest somber account in “End of the Story”. The distorted production of Gotye’s older “Eyes Wide Open” tune adds a painfully melancholy element, while ISH goes in about hitting rock bottom. I’ve always enjoyed his tone and delivery, and “End of the Story” continues that appeal. This one serves as part III of his THR3MIX series – aka ‘triple’ remixes. Download here via Bandcamp.
Phew, thought we weren’t going to hear from iSH again! It’s been what seems like an eternity since we last posted his music, so I’m quite thankful he just sent over this release. On “Dreamer”, iSH remixes Xaphoon Jone’s remix of Savoir Adore’s track, “Dreamer 7?, and adds his powerful flow to top it off. The production here is quality, the various tempos make it more interesting and I believe every word that comes out of iSH’s mouth. Kollect this brand new track above, and stay tuned for more from this Canadian emcee!
“Don’t be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it’ll never begin.”
Canadian powerhouse iSH is a double threat, commanding the entertainment scene with both acting and music chops (Drake twin?). This guy has a sick flow with a cool tone and could have serious potential in the recording industry. iSH has been in the game for a while; his 2008 track “Falling in Love with You” broke the Top 40 position on Canadian radio charts, and scored him a nomination at the Canadian Music Awards.
He dropped his last mixtape The Name is iSH last May and I must say there are some great original tracks that deserve recognition. Aside from his original works, iSH is also capable of producing some killer remixes that I’ve featured below. Kollectors: introduce yourselves to iSH and watch out for more content here on the Kollection.
A strong debut from Why Are We Whispering, the newest side project of iSH and Don Diablo. They’ve managed to make this Martin Solveig & Dragonette hit even MORE catchy. Be sure to support on their developing FB page.
